Top 3 Workout Leggings
I’m a big believer in not having to compromise your sense of style just because you work out. I still wanna look superflly as I bang out those sit ups or extra miles. I love me a patterned legging, I really really do and for some reason, they’re not all that easy to come by, especially when it comes to running tights. Anyhoo, I thought I’d share my current faves so you can get your legs looking awesome while you sweat.
Left: These are from the Bjorn Borg new sports line. As they’re just cotton and elastane, I find these are better for yoga/pilates type workouts. The bright pattern will prevent you from falling asleep on the mat.
Centre: These bad boys are from a relatively new label called Vevie. I’ll be honest, the rest of their stuff is a little pedestrian, however, it’s really functional with some great detailing. I’d really like to see them do more patterned stuff though, branching out from the same old colours. These are great and they’re Lycra so work well for any workout.
Right: Nike, the current reigning Gods of funky running tight glory. I love these. The pattern’s really flattering and there’s mesh paneling on the inner calves. I like that the boundary is being pushed between active wear and lifestyle here. I’d totally wear these when not working out too. They’re that nice.
Another patterned legging lover here! I have the Nike ones in the leopard print and I adore them. The cut of Nike leggings makes them super comfortable and really flattering, especially on the derrière. Check out the new flower ones Sweaty Betty have just released – they made me drool!

AMY – To be honest, I hadn’t even heard of those but am always skeptical of products that claim to aid weight loss. I’m of the view that simple diet, exercise and hard work are the only answer to that. However, I am always open to these things so perhaps I should try them out and see if the claims are true

Hi, I was wondering if you could recommend some fairly cheap but still good quality (i.e. not going completely see through when i do a dead lift) workout clothes? Thanks in advance x

I have been eyeing the Nike prints too. I’m tired of wearing all black to workout. I branched out to prints and now I’m addicted! I have a sports bra from Old Navy, fitted jacket from Target, and my new fall tennis are the printed tr fit 2 from Nike. I’m searching for grey solid rights to, which led me to ur site. Cool, I’ll check often now that I know it’s about fitness and badass chicas !!
