Spikes Style: Lija
You know I see no reason to look a hot mess even when I am a hot mess (if that makes sense). Since I already know that when I work out, my face will be beetroot red, my hair will be all over the place and I will be sweating like crazy, I like to know that at least what I’m wearing looks good.
Thankfully, women’s sportswear is improving by the day (that’s not to say we don’t still have a way to go). Last week I had the chance to check out the latest range from one of the newer sportswear kids on the block, Lija, and I was pleasantly surprised.
There are some really nice pieces in this collection. For me, one of the most important things about my sportswear is that I can wear it to workout, then go straight to a meeting after if I need to and it still looks OK. A lot of this Lija line does just that. It really does look at activewear as a lifestyle. There are some nice, loose shapes in some of the tops (my favourites) and some really nice prints on the leggings and shorts (also, flattering shorts! Hurrah!).
Anyhoo, check it out for yourself and see what you think.
