My Interview on Canadian TV

Well first of all, I guess I should say HIIIII GUYS! I’ve been away for a couple of weeks on vacation in rural Canada, visiting my family. With limited access to the Internet, I left you post-less for a little while. Apologies!

Anyhoo, my time away was not time wasted. I kick started my marathon training (I’m doing Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco in October) with some gentle runs to ease myself back in to running life (after six months of cycling in prep for the Etape). And I also appeared on a TV show out there called Live at Five on CTV.

I was invited on by the senior director of the show, who I met in ’08 when I was living out there in Nova Scotia and had just launched my Bangs and a Bun blog. We’ve kept in touch over the years so when she heard I’d be out there on holiday, she said she’d like to get me on the show. It was my first live TV experience and though leading up to it, I was so nervous I thought I might puke or faint, I actually really enjoyed it.

Taking the Spikes & Heels word international baybeh!
