Gyakusou Women’s Spring 2012 Collection
Finding functional yet fashionable running gear is an eternal quest for runners. Alas, we may have found the answer in Gyakusou‘s recent collaboration with Nike. While us ladies had to be jealous of the men’s gear for the past couple of seasons, they’ve finally come out with a women’s line for Spring and it is looking good. Removable sleeves on jackets, breathable fabrics, sexy short shorts and even a running skirt, you’re guaranteed to stay fly when running this summer in this gear. Sure, it’s pricey, but you sure will stand out from all those other runners on the start line.

It is great that 1948 stocks this! I had the great timing of being in Tokyo when S/S was released a few weekends ago and it was sold out almost instantly. The Undercover showroom had the full collection though, even though Nike didn’t
I will say that the shorts are short short. The running skirt cleverly includes a more standard Dry Fit short. And the men’s hoodies fit women just fine too, and are extremely cool.
